In Nigeria, Jerome did several clinics with the Power Forward Initiative. These clinics were sponsored by Africare, a non-profit organization which provides development aid for Africa, and Exxon Mobil, a gas corporation that was also interested in this great opportunity. Jerome spent his time playing basketball, signing autographs, and taking pictures for those in attendance. A key memorable moment: Jerome played a truly fantastic and competitive one-on-one game against camper James Ibuka.
The people of Nigeria were grateful for Jerome Williams and NBA Africa making this amazing experience happen. Jerome thoroughly enjoyed his Young3 trip to Nigeria with no plans of putting an end to his philanthropic adventures any time soon!
